A Journey of "Slowing Down" and Returning to Oneself
The story of Deep Breath Gökçeada began with a radical realization by its founders, who felt lost in the chaos of the modern world and exhausted by a metropolitan life driven entirely by "success" and "speed." They came to understand that true luxury lies not in expensive possessions, but in uninterrupted silence, the ability to look up at the sky, and filling one's lungs with pristine air—in other words, simply taking a "deep breath."
This quest brought them to Gökçeada’s most untouched corner, a special landscape where the wind transforms into a source of healing. Deep Breath was envisioned not merely as a hotel, but as a "mental detox" and retreat center where people can unplug from the digital world, tune into their inner voice, and reconnect with both nature and their bodies. It is a modern-day sanctuary where the soul is purified by the island's northeasterly breeze (poyraz) and the rhythm of time beautifully slows down.
